Hello there, I'm Audrey-

A classically trained, world-travelled pastry chef with a passion for all things creative. From food styling and photography to pottery and biodynamic gardening (as well as full-time parenting), I'm constantly exploring new avenues to express my love for food, life, family, and adventure.

Living in the Appalachian foothills in southern Quebec with my wonderful husband and two beautiful children, I'm always seeking inspiration from my surroundings. As a recipe developer, I'm particularly drawn to the fleeting seasons, local produce, and my own indulgent cravings. My training at l'ITHQ in Montreal provided me with a solid foundation that has allowed me to explore and innovate with confidence as I combine my unique aesthetic with the science of culinary pastry-making.

After completing my studies, I was awarded a bursary that sent me to work abroad in some of the world's most renowned kitchens, including 3-Michelin-starred restaurants like the Relais & Châteaux properties and the Meilleur Ouvrier de France. With my husband Stu by my side, I embarked on a two-year journey, capturing life on four continents while honing my skills in the kitchen and with a camera. This experience crystallized my love for fine cuisine and storytelling, and I've been playing with food ever since!

Now, a decade later, I'm thrilled to be working from my home studio, creating compelling food stories through styling and photography. I'm a firm believer in the power of content marketing for premium food brands and products using a distinct style. I find it incredibly satisfying to capture an experience or to elicit an emotional response from consumers; it's a powerful marketing tool that I'm passionate about.

Let’s work together on creating your next delicious marketing assets.  Share your project details with me at hello@audreylaferriere.ca and I will happily leverage my expertise to produce captivating content.
